I am Sara Smith, educator and creativity enthusiast. I teach others about creativity, facilitate the Creative Problem Solving process for groups and individuals, and support people in their growth upward.
I have a Bachelor of Science degree in Human Development and Family Studies and am currently working towards a Master of Science degree in Creativity through the International Center for Studies in Creativity at SUNY Buffalo State where I am a recipient of the Sidney J. Parnes and Ruth B. Noller Creativity Scholarship.
My vision is to help people learn to help themselves and others realize their creative potential. I am passionate about learning and creating a shift in the way we as a society think about and treat learning. I also have a strong interest in building creative communities that provide resources and support for people to grow, learn, dream and make their dreams happen, no matter their age. I share how parents can cultivate creativity at home with their children at www.creativityathome.com.
I am mother to two bright children, with whom I explore creativity every day.
I think everyone can be creative and that creativity can be fulfilling in deeply satisfying ways. Creative thinking can be learned, practiced, and used in every facet of life!
